Very fine meat, great ambience. Delicious! A bit expensive for Germany but it's worth it!

Delicious. I always enjoy going there. Especially the devil sauce together with the beef fillet is extremely delicious. The side salad is also always very tasty. We recommend.

Hm ... That was nothing. We were yelled at by totally overwhelmed staff because we were there ten minutes before the reservation. So we had to take a seat at the counter, where of course there was no room for our three-month-olds. He then had to stand on the floor, which he didn't think was great. The request that we could switch to one of the free tables before serving the food was rejected on the grounds that we would then have to re-set (a fork, a knife and a serviette). Are you crazy? That was nothing at all. The only low point of our Lake Constance trip, the low point was bottomless.

The food was great, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the service was really good. In general, the whole staff was friendly, child-friendly and attentive. Thank you for the great evening, we'd love to come back!

Great Steak, reasonable price

Very cozy steak restaurant. With a good menu. We had the fillet steak with fried potatoes / baked potatoes on our plate. We were served by very friendly staff and can only recommend the house, because the meat quality was great. We weren't here for the last time.

It takes so long til u get served

Visit on 09/11/2020 Reservation for 8.30 p.m. by phone the day before worked fine. Got a nice table and a nice reception. Menu is excellent and balanced for all tastes. So far everything is great, but then! Spare ribs were out !!!!!! As a big fan of spare ribs, a disaster. But our nice wait staff did everything that I ordered something else 😉. The starter and main course were of very good quality and separately I would like to highlight the good quality of the meat and the preparation. I like to give 5 stars here. Excellent steaks and the fried potatoes were so delicious. In addition, an attentive and friendly service and you already have a restaurant where you like to go back.

A little inconspicuous from the outside, the ambience and food are outstanding in my opinion. The interior is very rustic and the view of the grill gives you an idea of ​​what will be on your plate later. The service is always attentive and very courteous during my visits. I never had any problems during my visits, reservations always worked and is particularly recommended during peak times. You shouldn't expect cheap food here, but I think it's worth every euro. The meat, the side dishes and sauces are great. I will definitely come whenever possible, the mix of good food, a down-to-earth atmosphere and very good service rounds off a stay in Konstanz wonderfully.

When we had dinner for a large amount, we could not pay with the card because the wifi was supposedly "bad", although 2 people next to us paid with the card without any problems. We were then asked to withdraw cash

Very professional staff. Recommended us a great wine since the wine we ordered wasn't available. Highly recommended the Les Terraces red wine. It's a perfect partner for steak.

The selection is not very big, but what is offered is just good! The meat is of great quality and is served exactly as you order it. You can choose the side dishes yourself and are relatively extensive. The service is quick and attentive. Only the possibility to pay took a little long for us. The price / performance ratio is also very good. In short: highly recommended!

The place is great looking and nice personell. Good beer. The meat was too dry. Really.. You have to marinate the chicken at least a little bit before throwing it on the grill.

Quick check out where there are good steaks in the area, come out at the witch's kitchen, perfect! Angus Steak medium, perfect, great portion. The homemade herb butter tastes very good, only to be recommended. The staff are very nice and hard-working. Although it is located on the main road, but you sit outside very well in the rear area. I can not rate inside. Priced in the upper area. Side dishes like potatoes cost extra. We had the potatoes with bacon and onions, also delicious :)

For meat lovers is this place a to be.You get all you can think of and when the food you eat, it makes you go crazy.I dined here first time after my friends recommended it, but now I am a regular here.Most of what I like is how they serve you with hospitality a priority.I would say, try it for yourself and see.

We ate here with 4 people on a friday evening. We had booked a table and that was good because it was busy. The food however was not as expected unfortunately. We read all the good reviews but at least the sparerips were pretty dry. One of us had a steak and that was really good. But if you want anything with the meat you need to order extra. Like potatoes or vegtables.

Make a reservation -- we were walk-ins, and while they tried to be accomodating, our only options were to sit outside amongst a bunch of smokers (common in Konstanz outdoors) or inside at the bar. We opted for the bar, and that was fine, but if you want an inside table, do make a reservation. They have excellent steaks (really just about the best I've found in Germany) and a pretty good wine list.

The place to go if you want hood meat on Konstanz. Flame grilled beef, that is usually being served within mere minutes. Always on point at least for me. Scampi-Spieß from the grill with a Salad are great as well. Unfortunately hard for walk ins as you need to book in advance since it is very busy.

Even though we hadn't booked they managed to find us a table. Delicious food. Large portions.
